Anyone know what you can do with a PSP with 2.5 firmware that has the new motherboard that doesn't let you downgrade?
Supposedly there's a old version of Grand Theft Auto that has a save-game flaw that you can explose, but Rockstar is now shipping a new version that prevents that. Any way to verify which version of the game you're getting?
Is there a way to have 2.5 firmware (needed since it has the web browser) with an old motherboard and still be able to install software on it? One option would be to bring back the new PSP and instead get a used PSP that has the older motherboard.
We're not trying to pirate PSP games or anything. My wife just wants to be able to play portable emulated NES (which we own most of the cartridges for anyway).
I tried searching for past posts, but the stupid 4-letter limit on the forum search prevents searching for "psp".
Thanks.
