Aliens to spawn on next-gen systems

New title based on classic sci-fi horror franchise from Sega and 20th Century Fox enters incubation; final product expected to burst forth in 2009.

This is great news for me seeing as I am an avid fan of both Sega AND the Alien series. I wonder why they neglected to mention the 8-bit version of Alien 3?

In fact it's there : Acclaim (Alien Trilogy and Alien 3 for multiple platforms). Acllaim/Probe did the game for MD,GG and SMS.


We have to wait a really long time to know what they will do with the license, let's hope it won't be a simple FPS.

First shts were published on SEGA FTP, there is no link with the good old alien Syndrome of the Arcade and SMS.

That is a different game. It is Alien Syndrome to be released on PSP and Wii. It is not based on the Alien movies.
