5thman has created another Splatterhouse fangame, this time a 3-D game entitled Splatterhouse 3D. However, it may not run on your PC the way it was intended to. 5th explains: "The program I used was Game Maker 6, which turned out to be extremely picky about what machines it could run on. All I've really figured out is that Game Maker hates Windows Vista and won't run without Directx, which means it doesn't run on Macs. The game is complete; it's just a picky little bitch is all."
Also FYI: the game takes several seconds to load when you run the exe.
