Heh, I've played it on an emulator. It's absolutely nothing like the SNES Super Mario World, and the sprites are taken from quite a few different games, but it still manages to be kinda fun. Mostly because Mario has like super turbo fireball power, which kinda makes you wonder how awesome that kind of ability would be in a real Mario game. If only he had eye beams...sigh..
No one outside of Japan seems to know about the OTHER pokemon hack. It is not the platform game, but rather it is a real hack of the role-playing battle game. I saw it in 2 game stores in Tokyo. Both were not for sale, just display only hacks. In demo mode, it looked like a full game with great graphics modeled after the Gameboy game.
Does anyone else know about this? Has anyone ever seen the rom?
