The DS Gets It's First Tennis Game!

The upcomming portable Nintendo DS system's first tennis game will be brought to you by Konami and will be called Tennis No Oji Sama: 2005 Crystaldrive (Prince of Tennis). This is based off of an anime by the same name in Japan and will feature a storyline similar to that anime. There will be some RPG elements involved also.

If you are a tennis fan then this is one to pick up. I'm still not sure how they made an anime out of tennis, let alone an RPG. Those crazy Japanese.

That's nothing, there's an anime (Hikaru no Go) based on Go, with the matches supposedly modeled after actual historical tournament games. 🙄

Why not? I mean, if they can model anime series after kickboxing (Ayane's High Kick) or street fighting tournaments (too many to name), why not tennis?
