The first Gamecube mod chip

Well, its finnaly happened, a mod chip is about the be released for the Gamecube (and only a four wire install at that!). Go here for more info.

To be clear, this is a BIOS replacement mod. It doesn't just let people pop a copied mini-DVD in and play it, although it sounds like hacks may be under development to do that.

I wouldn't be suprised. That's cool that Nintendo made it this long w/o havin wide-spread piracy. It's my understanding that you can load games off the PC w/ the broadband adaptor correct? You just need the appropriate game (I believe PSO).
