wierd saturn issue

hey i have had a saturn from the begining and i recently let a friend borrow my modded model 2 for about a month and when i got it back i played clockwork knight 2 no problem intill i put in another game now it reads all cds(cdr and retail) as cd+g's it will play the music but doesnt seem to boot the game i took the mod out and same problem has anyone heard of this?

everything seems intact i have the mod out right now as im just trying to boot retail once i can get it to ill put the mod back in the mod doesnt seem to be the issue though 🙁
