I downloaded some redone nintendo tunes by NESkimos and others, even Goldfinger did the Super Mario Brothers tune. They sound cool I have quite a few redone video game theme songs you should hear.

If I remember correctly, the Minibosses were given a plug in an issue of GameInformer a few years ago (2002 right after E3 I think) and the Neskimos (or was it the Advantage Band...) were mentioned in a recent issue of EGM.
I found Game Over through OCRemix when they released their single "Little Mac's" something or other.

Yeah, I think the NESkimos consider the minibosses as a "rival" band. I thin they even mentioned this on their news page. The minibosses have never said anything about that, but then again, there's hardly anything on their pages besides links to MP3s and pictures from the big shows.
Personally, I like the NESkimos and the minibosses for their hard, pure metal, but I _love_ the Advantage Band because they're not afraid to do things that are not directly translatable to pure metal, like the Goonies, Ducktales, Marble Madness, and Bomberman (probably my faves).
