your amiga

i'm running an A2000HD, 68030, Kick3.1, a 50mb HD and a 30mb HD.

got the standard 1084s for display and the Amiga itself has an ECS chipset.

i got a mad load of original software too.

Sigh, I wish I had one, but I don't anymore. I'll probably get a nice one when I get the dough for it though.

What I used to have was:

A500 with 52mb HD (SCSI SupraDrive)

1MB Fat Agnus

1084s

Zip Drive

68020/14mhz accelerator card with 4mb SIMMs onboard

Kick 3.1/OS 3.1

And a nice 14.4 Supra modem. ;)

I had all the essential apps, demos, and games, of course.

Today I got a external disk drive, box of games,a A500 PSU and a mouse for the measley sum of £1!!!

Anyhow my Amigas :

A500+ KS2 2MB Ram towercased

A500+ KS2 1.5MB ram 68010 CPU @ 10Mhz!!!!

A500 KS1.3 1MB Ram and 1MB FAST RAM

A500+ KS2 2 RAM + A570 with 2MB Fast RAM

1 X unfinsihed A500 dual board project :(

Commodore A1200 standerd

Amiga Technolagies brand new never used from day 1 A1200 with 32MB Ram 2GB Hard drive Blizzard 040 Accelerator, sampler, external disk drive,Squirrel PCMICIA CD-Rom,2MB PC card for that bit of extra RAM/space dont really need it.

Dont use them much may do today just to play since I baught that extra crap

Amiga 500, orig. w/ Kick1.3, now has Kick/WB 3.1, 2MB chip RAM, GVP A530 270MB Quantum HD + 8MB Fast RAM + 68030EC/68882 @ 40MHz... the whole thing is in the closet, still working perfectly (I'm using my 1084 for the NES/Saturn/DC consoles as an S-video display these days)... tons of floppies too, as for the HD contents, I turned them into an image file to use with WinUAE on my PC...Ohyeah, and full ECS chipset of course. I still have a Toshiba XM-something 4x SCSI CD-ROM drive laying around, too, plus my small collection of Aminet CDs and a copy of Maxon Cinema 4D, among other things. The drive still uses caddies! :D

By the time the 1200 and 4000 came around I never could afford to upgrade... then I slipped into Windowsworld instead  so here I am with two PCs networked at home, and trying to stay on top of all the AmigaDE and AmigaOne stuff that's going on. :)

I hadnt seen this thread before. Here is my machine :

A4000 Tower, 68040 40 Mhz processor, gfx-card, OS 3.9, rom 3.1, 12 mb ram, 2 gb hd ond some strange additions like midi-interface and such.

I have two A500 machines with 1 mb ram each to. Havent used them for a while though.

How do you instal a 68030 CPU & Kick3.1 in A2000?

Does this also have AGA chip set?

Can you play AGA A1200/4000 games on your AMIGA at 256 colours?

Anyways, my AMIGA is a basic AMIGA 1200, 2MB Ram, 3.1Kick, 2nd external Floppy & 1084s Monitor.

Oh & one of the keyboard keys is missing.

;)

But playes fine.

Is there a software that can emulate Kick1.3 so I can play some incompatible A500 games on the real A1200?

I want to play R-Type2 :(

Thanks in advance.

WHDload will do what you're looking to do. See http://whdload.de ... well worth the registration fee for the program, although of course if you don't have a harddrive it won't help you. There are other programs that will let you rekick into 1.3 and run it from floppy... try 'tude' from Aminet, that's what I used to use.

3.1 can easily be installed in an A2000... it's just a matter of buying the ROM chips and seating them. There are also a bunch of 68030 boards available for the A2000. However, there is no way to upgrade an ECS Amiga to the AGA chipset.

My setup:

A4000

25MHz 68040 / 16MB Fast / 2MB Chip / KS 3.0

2 small IDE drives (100 or 200 MB or so)

GVP Impact Series II 2000 HC+8

2GB Quantum Fireball attached to said controller

GVP Impact Vision 24 (currently used only as a scandoubler)

Unfortunately, this isn't the A4000 version so it doesn't support the full AGA colorspace

Matay Prometheus w/ Voodoo 3 3000 and Realtek 8029 Ethernet

I know this is an old thread but oh well im gonna post anyways...

My setup

A1200,blizzard060/50mhz,192mb,mediator sx,voodoo 3000,poweflyer MK2,scsi2,30gig ide HD,soundblaster 128,TV card,network card..

Thats about it for now...
