This is a port of Alex the Allegator 2 to the Sega Saturn. Alex the Allegator 2 is a 2001 game by Johan Peitz. It has a GPL2 license and the original source code can be found at SourceForge.
I had ported another simple game to Saturn before this and it was originally built using Allegro 4. Since I had already gained that familiarity with Allegro, I was looking for another project that could leverage those skills. As a result, I stumbled across the Alex the Allegator games and decided to work on the second installment.
Alex 2 is a puzzle game. You can play against the computer or a friend (if you have 2 controllers).
Controls:
D-Pad: Move
A/C: Select option or place tile
Z: Get a tile placement hint
Start: Pause or start game
