to convert files use CDMage, it can fix some errors AFAIK, and it's waaay better than binchunker (btw binchunker became pat of fireburner )

depends. I got two sats. One with 64pin cd-rom and second one with 22pin cd-rom and running cd-r on one of them (don't remember which one) is a piece of cake i can do it with one hand and watching tv, whereas second one is kinda bitch and it's hard to run some games (like Panzer Dragon's...)

The weird thing is that both saturns act the same:( I'm only able to play with disassambled sat with big fan placed over it... Taelon: how could i decrease voltage? heh, i should check it first though:) Anyway, i'll try my best... Thx for advices. l8er

tried it, but it failed:((( So as i see, my only way to repair my sat is to place some radiators over chips... I know (hope so...) how to reassemble my sat after it... Wish Me Luck:) I'll report how it works (or doesn't...)

I used nero 5.10.something...btw. fireburner doesn't work for me...

I put together only main parts (main board, energy source [don't know the english name ], and cd-rom) put it under fan, placed on table and turned on. It was working normally. I've tried it for like 3 hours and there were no problems. So, as we can see, it looks like temperature problem. And...

some games are just VERY hard to run using swap trick on model 2 sats. I got that problems with PD Saga, PD Zwei, Manx tt, and some others... go and buy a mod-chip, it's always a better way to run backups (everything will work ok, and your cd-rom will not go down after some time)

yeah, without any problems. I used DAO16 and 12x and there're no problems, i've compleated whole game 2times, and seen all movies, and they didn't skip. You got any problems? btw. My burner is LG 32/10/40 tweaked to 40/12/40 if it matters:)

i got nights in bin+cue format, and CDRWin was unable to burn it (don't remember why), and nero did it just great... but i also recommend using CDRWin always when it's possible

I got two sats (both model 2). I can play them for like 10-15min and then everything stops exepct for audio-cd music. After reset i'm unable to play, screen is black, bu the lid is green as if it works. To run them again i have to take out baterry, pt it again... sometimes even that doesn't...
