A little clarification needed

Following the diagram in this thread, I need to get switches with three pins to solder to when the minute ones I bought the other day have only two. Am I correct in thinking that it must be three? If not, could anyone tell me how it is done with two?

Thanks a lot

To do the 50/60Hz and language mods with two-pin switches, just leave out the wires which are connected to the right hand side of JP2/JP4 (assuming you're following the photo in that thread).

This is the +5 volt connection, but it isn't actually needed as the signal is pulled high anyway... so you really only need a SPST (two-pin) switch.

All done! Didn't bother with the language switch though since all the protected imports I want are USA ones. Thanks again for the help.

It might be dodgy but it's the clearest thing out there

. Busted my LED doing the mod and can't get the bugger out to replace it. Ack
