They're upping it to 250MB in early July.

A lot of my regular mail goes there even when the filters aren't aggressive.

I guess your friends (or whoever e-mails you) have mastered the skill of looking like spam. Occasionally, something legitimate will end up in my spam folder, but this is a relatively rare occurence.

Personally, I've never understood the attraction of web-based email.

It can be rather convenient if you're travelling and don't have access to your own computer. I got a hotmail account mainly because it was free and I needed a second e-mail account to give away and collect spam.

I have GMAIL as i was invited to the service by a person i know.

Also HOTMAIL will now start offering 250 megabytes to basic accounts starting in JULY so i don think GMAIL will be as special as it once was.
