Bochs x86 PC emulator

I tried it ages ago and it was s.l.o.w.

Props for the devs doing it, but even if it can do what you ask, SSF would probably render a frame every day or so.

Right, I tried it some month ago.

I succed to install win95 under GNU/Linux with Bochs but it takes ages to boot !
 
Yeah, AFAIK Bochs is mainly used by operating system developers, although even many of them seem to be moving to QEMU nowadays.

Unfortunatly QEMU works only on Linux :eek:

Thanks also the qemu got a new release for windows 0.82 and there is Bochs 2.3 Pre 3.1 for windows. Still need time to test them :)

What are the specs of your PC Zik Zak and Curtis ? I got an Atlhon XP 3000+ with 768mo
