Sprites ==>
I have provided PSD files, with which I have modified 90% of the book's pages.
The game's palette is unique.
The Palette IN folder adds the HEX1 palette at the beginning of the file, while HEX2 is a series of 00s (I work with TileMolester because it's more convenient). (USE ONLY PNG! )
The HX.PY script adds the palette.
The PAL OFF.PY script removes the palettes and the series of 00s from the finalized files placed in INPUT.
⚠️ Be careful: The intro sprites, like the duck and the following menu, are in 16-bit.
The entire game uses the same palette for all 8-bit files.
The palette MUST be the same everywhere.
(It is embedded in the script; I kept the original one.)
Video ===>
For the videos, the format is Duck.
You mainly only need to change the audio and recompile it as DUCK04 audio.
There is no need to edit all the videos.
However, some videos available in the PC version of the game are still in Duck TrueMotion, and you'll need to recreate them yourself.
(For example, the ending cutscene or the one where the robot goes to the sea...)
Audio ===>
Only the AIF files need to be taken from the PC version.
There’s nothing to change, just rename them accordingly.
