Is there a way to burn with CD-RW's so that when you want to add more stuff to the cd-rw cd that you dont have to copy the shit on the cd to your harddrive and erase the cd-rw.. instead shouldn't you be able to just keep adding to it without having to erase shit and reput it back on with the new stuff from your harddrive.

Something about not closing the session maybe?? Any enlightment.. I barely touch cd-rw's.

Thanks guys.

can this be done in nero.. I tried without deleting erasing my cd-rw yet and it said something about errors with modes and shit.. once I copied the files to my harddrive from the cd-rw and erased the cd and burnt it worked fine.

Can you tell me what the best program would be to do this or how to with nero.

Like ice said, do a multi session disk and leave the session open and then you should be able to add more things without the need to erase everything. It basically works the same way you would use a plain CDr, just leave the session open so you can add more data later. The key is after you create a mult session disk when you go to add more data later select the "continue multi session disk option" and you should be good to go.

Also, if you are using winXP and the information you are burning will only be used on PCs with winxp, using the built in cd burning feature will simplify things even more.

Yeah, I just click and drag the files onto the CD-RW, and then click the Add Files button in the left side of the window. (I use Windows XP Pro)
