Comic book question

I know there must be a few people here who know something about comics...

I am trying to play a little game. Do you know anything about those CGC cases? Can they be opened without detection? Would one break or be damage by this and can it be closed again without obvious detection?

I am not doing this for any fraud. It is just for a fun joke.

They are designed so that any tampering with them is easily visible. It's imposible to open one and reseal it without making it obvious it was done. They've been pretty good in updating the design all the time to remove all possible ways of getting into them undetected. That being said it wouldn't surpirse me if someone finds some manical way of doing it.

what is a CGC case?

I like comics, but I'm not a collector or anything, so im not sure what that is.

so if I want to tamper with one, could I do so with an older case? I am looking on ebay for cheap cgc comics in cases.

How would I find on that could most readily be opened and resealed? What distinguishes an old case and how might I go about such a procedure of switching? 🙂
