What a cool clip! I like it so much I'll give a narration for the "Super Mario Bros. 1 impaired". Anybody from the time would be able to pick out the music.
00:00-00:01- The quick 3 note at the start signals the "start button"*I think*
00:03-00:39 - Music of all of 1st level including ending.
00:42-00:44 - Start of Level 2
00:43 - Mario sinks into pipe
00:45-00:56 - Start of Underground Level 2
00:57-01:06 - Mario gets a star!
01:08 - Mario jumps into a pit :-(
