Cropped Image

Hi,

I have a Japanese gray Saturn (with the blue elliptical buttons) Model No. HST-3200, I´m using a RGB scart to connect to the my PAL tv, whenever I play a japanese game the image gets cropped by almost 2 inches in the left side and 1cm in the right side, is there a way to fix this?

Also some games get cropped by below.

If you play a PAL game on a JAP Sega Saturn, some PAL games where optimized to run full speed on PAL machines so when played at 60 HZ some of the sides cave in a bit.

You caninstall a 50/60 Hz switch to it if you want to you can play those pal games properly.

What about the original japanese games they get cropped in the left and right sides of the tv, so if I install the 50/60 Hz switch will the image fit then and I finally will see the whole image in my pal TV.

What I want to do is play: jap ntsc games>jap saturn>Pal TV> Full Image

Sorry if I´m not making some sence but I´m still getting into it

it might actually be your tv (unable to display a ntsc signal)

how old is the tv in question?

if you want to test this out for sure, try it on a tv that definitely does support ntsc (almost all new pal tvs do afaik)

Any TV made from 97 onwards should be able to handle ntsc signals with ease....
