cool. Any idea when The cd database will be up and running? i keep checking back, but it never seems to be "We're still getting our archives ready." You guys should have a great collection, but when is it going to be available? (and btw, i already have a bin/cue rip of snatcher [and im trying to buy the original])

Hmm, maybe LAME has a better compression ratio. Audioactive uses the original Fraunhofer codec. Ill try the software you linked to and see how it compares. If I could rar both my ISO and Mp3s into a file that will fit onto a zip disc, it would be very helpful. Thanks, Ill let you know how it goes.

Oh, Supergrom, I don't know when aceroms will post their stuff. Sorry :(

Ok, I just did a little test. First, I ripped Track 7 to a wave (28 megs). Then I used the LAME you linked to encode at 192kbs, high quality and got a 3.81 meg Mp3. I compared that to the Mp3 I got using Audioactive. Both are 3.81 megs. Next, I played all 3 sound files back to back. To my ears, they all sound exactly the same.

So the question is, if the file sizes are also exactly the same, how did you end up getting a smaller total size for your Mp3s?

Did I do something differently? I uses command line:

lame -b 192 -h Track07.wav Track07.mp3

How large is your track 7 Mp3?

Thanks for your time!

Ah crap, you need to buy sound forge to save? Do you know of any other programs that you could do this with.

Same problem here with sound forge , anyone here who knows of another program with which i can do the editing?

I get no problems with the mp3s I got from elportal (i always leave perfect synchro on), except for track 12 (mp3 number 11) which is corruted (bad download?) where can i get this file seperately?

Cool Edit Pro would probably let you do something similar. I believe it's shareware, you might be able to grab a trial.

The same save crap.Needs the full version to save...

Guess i "simply" have to find a working snatcher mp3 rip.

#### it Gallstaff its not that hard. It took me all of 0.08 seconds to find it on Google. It probably took you longer to ask the question.

But it took less brain power.

You don't want to work too hard there, do you Gallstaff?

ok i'm sorry but strid3R, i need your help. Since the commands n' crap are different in goldwave. Can you tell me what to do. What sound forges' gold wave counter-parts are?

What exactly are you trying to do Gallstaff? There is absolutely nothing tricky about adding two seconds of audio to a wave file. What do you mean "commands n crap"? Does "Insert Silence" mean anything to you??
