I've had this 32pins Saturm modded for like 18 months.
It also has a 50/60Hz switch.
But it seems the modchip has died all of a sudden ? Did that ever happen to anyone else ?
If I plug the CD board directly, it boots originals.
If I put it back the normal way or using the A+B method, it seems to be "searching" for the TOC making funky noises, then stops after 10 secs and that's all, impossible to play even the audio tracks.
I've tried to resolder everything nicely, to no success :bs
But considering the CD board does spin for like 10 seconds, is my modchip dead at all ?
Maybe it comes from the "signal" cable ?
should i try to change the 0014/0019 thingie even though it worked fine before w/o changing anything?
I ain't sure of nothing anymore..
