They did not keep the design/style of the game :( It can be because of the move to 3D but for me it's not a good reason.

Anyway it's great to see a sequel of the so famous Final Fight :)

Ugh, WTF. God that looks terrible.... does Capcom really want an even bigger disgrace to the series than Final Fight Revenge?

Looks like this will be Not Final Fight, but from the description it still might be good on its own merits. Reserving judgment until I can see it in action.

my thoughts exactly.

At least they are playing around with something slighlty different from their latest projects

Looks like a generic PS2 action game to me. Another game with that dull gritty look.

The gameplay however could be good, Capcom have been on great form with their recent output.

Ditto on the Shenmue comment. :D

BTW, when did Cody get a brother named Kyle? :huh

Hehe, I like this IGN quote: "Pain. It does a body good." :slap

Tell me about it. I think this game is made by Capcom USA, who have pretty much always sucked, but it's still annoying and disheartening that companies like Capcom and Konami are now making GTA wannabes.

(Check out this game, announced by Konami at E3 : http://www.konami.com/gs/crimelife/ )

It's not 2D, it's not Final Fight. 'Nuff said.

With the massive popularity that this type of game has on the home-brew scene, you'd think one of the major studios would try putting out a 2D side scrolling beat-em-up game.

Or if not straight 2d, at least 3d with a 2d perspective, like most shooters coming out these days. That could work out alright.

Oh well, at least that hi-res Hokuto no Ken fighter is coming out.
