Heya, guys.
Since I bought my saturn (second hand) I constantly had problems like crashs, rebooting, internal clock reseting and internal memory erase. But it was still playable though, until yesterday.
I heard a loud crash and the cd stopped to spin. After opening the saturn shell and removing the mod-chip, voilá! Everything worked 100% fine.
Now my question is, how can I be sure that my mod-chip died on me or it was just bad installed? Because I checked on the net info about it and none of the mod-chips resambled like mine. Most of them had 2 wires, a blue and a red one, connect both to the sat´s power bar and a chip on the console.
Has anyone seem a chip like this one below? Does it really have just one blue wire? Do I need to make other connections? How can I assure that it´s dead?
