Hour+ documentary about Bug!

It's the YouTube deep dive few people asked for! Featuring an interview with Bug's lead developer courtesy of SHIRO!, and the mounds of other interviews/research I've done in the past, this video details the history of Bug! It was almost a Sonic game, developed with a box that was larger than a small fridge, and sparked a false Spielberg quote that many authors perceived as real.

I really enjoyed the video - not my favorite game, but the history behind it and why it ended up being the way it is is pretty interesting! All of these early Saturn games had similar development issues, but it's pretty apparent now that the surprise launch date was probably the single biggest mistake Sega made.

Never thought Bug! would be coded in pure assembly either - that's kind of insane. I am interested in trying out the Japanese version now.
