INCREDIBLE:The mod chip gave new life to my Saturn

Yes,it's true...The Saturn that recognized all games as audio cd (after I changed the laser lens..) now works perfectly with the mod of the other Saturn of mine,so it reads original and backups..The strange is that the Saturn from which I took the mod chip now doesn't read well the original cds!If I remount the mod chip it works perfectly with origina and backups.

So I have to buy another chip mod.

I can state that the mod chip gave new life to my partially Saturn!("partially" because first it recognized all as audio cd..).

What caused the one Saturn's problems in the first place?

Probably less the mod chip and more the re-seating the ribbon cables. Fool around with the ribbon cables.
