The Kasulu Internet Project is funded by the Global Catalyst Fund to teach African refugees to use the Internet. The classroom is located in a refugee camp. The PCs in the classroom are powered by 12 cows. The manure from the cows is collected and used in a gas digester that produces methane gas. This is mixed with diesel fuel and burned to power the generator that runs the school. The cows make enough gas to keep the computers running about 8 hours a day.
