Can anyone confirm that this works on an actual Mega CD (not Gens)? I won an original on eBay a while back and did the burn/convert thing, but the game only gets as far as the title screen, then blacks out. Tried with the MD on 50 and 60hz.. My burn does work with Gens, and the SCDconv compatability list says it should work so I'm stuck. Maybe I'll have to invest in one of Arakon's multibios's.

Any help appreciated

Maybe it hangs because it's a 60hz version of the game and you're using PAL (50hz) hardware ...

You talking about The Silver Star here?

I can confirm that the TSS works fine when converted from US -> Euro and played on real hardware.

From memory you need to burn it track-at-once to get it to work properly. I'm fairly sure that the problem you describe can be fixed using this method.
