A supercomputer assembled from 1,100 Apple Macintosh G5 dual-processor servers at Virginia Tech University appears likely to be the second fastest machine in the world. Preliminary tests show that its peak processing power will be 17.6 teraflops (trillion floating point operation per second). The world's largest supercomputer is located at the Marine Science and Technology Center in Kanagawa, Japan. It can operate at 35.6 teraflops using more than 5,000 processors. It's dubbed "Big Mac". :yum :)

It means 'unbearable'.

Thus he means to say we will not be able to handle your many 'I love Macs' posts that are sure to follow in the upcoming hours.

BOOYA! G5 :bow Just another month and a newer Mac, than I one I've got, will be mine.

Current:

PPC 133 MHZ

96 MB RAM

2 MB VRAM

1.2 GB HDD

Mac OS 8.6

New Mac:

iMac 400, 450, or 500 MHZ

128 MB RAM (at least)

8 MB VRAM (400, 450 models) 16 MB VRAM (500 model)

10 - 30 GB HDD (I'd like at least 13 - 20)

Mac OS X Jaguar :bow :thumbs-up:

It's going to be a GREAT Day! :)  :p :thumbs-up:  :hehehe:

The G5 and Mac OS X Panther OWN YOU!

Sadly, I don't think you'll be able to take advantage of Quartz XTreme with that sucka.

yeah you're probably gonna want more that 128MB or RAM for Jaguar. I'm not OSX expert, but I think it eats memory for breakfast much like XP

I should put my Quadras and Performas together.

It could be called the "Little Mac".

Nobody laughed because it's more true than it is funny :( (-Ed.)
