W WiseMan Jul 26, 2002 #3 i thought it was shit for mortal kombat. personally i play arcade scrolling beat em ups (streets of rage, alien storm etc) with it. it's also good for shoot em ups like thunderforce. but if you really wanted to try something weird use it for sonic

All I know is the official joystick for the DC is awesome and much worth the $50+ So many great fighting games, so little time

S sizone Jul 26, 2002 #5 arcade stick for the genesis? i used it for everything. i got it for xmas, along with road rash 2 i've always prefered sticks to pads until the n64 pad. only real problem is i don't recall it having any ballast unlike the nes joystick (which weighed a ton)

W WiseMan Jul 27, 2002 #6 yeah the DC arcade stick is a must buy. the basic pad is just gay with only a 4-way directional. i forgot to mention earlier that i also found the stick worked well with Chaos Engine (sometimes known as Soldiers of Fortune for some obsure reason)
