i poped in my copy of die hard arcade in my jap hisaturn(why i didnt use my us model 2 i have no idea) and i start playing and notice the the text is in jap though its the us copy has anyone else noticed games that convert the text to the region your system is i found it very odd i wish i could do the same with some of those jap games

Apparently, that's actually what causes the glitching in Soukyugurentai when played on a US system. Work had begun to translate the game into English for the arcade release (it was to be released as 'Terra Diver'). This was abandoned, but the extra code was left in the ST-V cart and was further left in when the game was ported to Saturn. So on an English system it doesn't work correctly because this mode is incomplete.

On 2nd version of it (it has some demo too) this bug is fixed iirc.
