New DC Shooter!

Sega has announced they will be releasing a new 2D shooter for both the Gamecube and the Dreamcast called Chaos Field. The GC release date is scheduled for Feb. of 2005 while the DC release is in Dec. of this year.

The game is not made by SEGA they just announced it, btw I downloaded some of the vids and unfortunately to me the game looks like shit. It has some RSG influences too see for yourself http://www.mile-stone.co.jp/eng/product/chaos_movie_e.html

Always good to see something for the DC.

It looks a lot like Ikaruga to me minus the fun that Ikaruga delivers. Guess I'll have to play it to see for myself though. So far I agree with Zheræ on that it sucks.

A Radiant Silvergun copy. Even the enemy weapons look the same. Not such a bad thing though since RS was so good.

Yeah I guess the game can´t be that bad otherwise I wouldn´t see SEGA publishing it on both DC and GC unless they have something else in mind.
