Outrun 2 will be released this winter in Japan and will support 8 players online via xbox live! How cool is that!

Us lucky Europeans are getting it on the 8th October. I've heard that we'll be the first to get it. With Japan being a couple of weeks later.

I really cant wait for this, played it in the arcades enough to know its amazing

I heard they were releasing it for PS2 also, is that still true or did they scratch it?

Yeah....

Although I'm sure the PS2 version may be on hold, due to Outrun 2 running off the Chihiro arcade board, that being an XBox based board.

Should be interesting what they do with that port...

Just played the demo on Live and it is certainly amazing.

Demo is available for people lucky enough to be in the UK from Game for a £3 deposit on the full version. Hopefully they'll release worldwide to share the love. Oh yeah and they have done an excellent job on the conversion

Definitely worthwhile just for the live mode 😀 😀
