Poll: Hey, whats your favorite PC game.

I think the most adictive games I have ever played are Starcraft and Ultima Online... I played the multiplayer of these games for more than two years each, and it was a great time. But for single player I'll have to say Planescape: Torment, the game I enjoyed the most... great story and the way things flow is great

Anyone ever tried using JDoom? Play online with Doom Connector.

I'm looking forward to the day Duke Nukem 3d gets similar treatment.. 3dRealms released the source code not too long ago so something should be along soon

What do you mean, you can't wait? You can get it now

. There's also 3d models as well as remade midi and textures on there. The textures and music are big downloads but well worth it.

The combined effect makes it seem like Doom is a brand new game

My Favorite game of all time PC wise would have to be...

Descent Freespace 2. Great solid game overall, loved every bit of it when it came out years ago. I really recommend anyone to try it. I was going to get the Sci-fi Sim of the year edition of it off ebay awhile after it came out for $5 but I put that off and now it goes for up to $50

Other good mentionable games:

Starcraft (classic, great online, simple yet gold)

Red Alert (ooooh yea, great missions)

Prince of Persia 1&2 (old school great platforming with hottie princess)

Wolfenstein 3d (Ahhh the classic FPS. Acktoon!)

Duke Nukem 1&2 (great platformer action, 2d was where it was at)

GTA / Carmagedon 2 (what computers are really created for *... senseless violence)

for Jdoom, do i need to have some form of doom already installed on me compy?

Yeah, it'll work with pretty much any version of Doom but you'll need it on first (for the wad primarily).
