Question on Modchips, mk-8000's etc etc

Hey guys,

So I sold off my entire ps1/ps2/dreamcast systems and libraries to become one of the cult.. for the Saturn🙂

My question I see on ebay people talk about 1995 Saturns and mk-8000's saying they can play imports just like a US saturn plays US version games. Is this true?

If not... what is the easiest way to achieve this ( look below )

A) play imports and US games on one machine

B) Play these different game regions without having to do something manually everytime.

c) Is burning and changing the iso's the only way to achieve what I am looking for? with the modchip of course.

D) Am I asking way too much on what I am looking for or is it just not possible to do all this?

Thanks in advance guys

most convenient way would be region switched Saturn - w/ mod chip if that's your thing. 😛

basically mod chip will bypadd the media checking while import cart or country switch will bypass the region checking... unfortunately there's no one easy solution to bypass both...

Thanks for replying bud I do appreciate it.

Do you know how to do this> What are the steps I would have t do?

Thanks again

Also will I have to burn copies of the games to make all this work or can I play right from my original imports?

if you only need to play lgit import copies you can do with the impot cart. That should cover about 98% of imports...

however if you need to run CD-R then you will need to chip and patch the ISO before burn if you don't want to fiddle with region switch... this is something not too hard but can be tricky to get it right...

what do you have in mind - playing CD-R or just original import copy?
