Ripping a Bad Burn

Hey guys, I burnt a PSX game about a week ago, and I guess I burnt it too fast (I got my external mod yesterday). Now, even though I burnt it too fast, you think I can rip it at a slower speed, then burn at a slower speed (4x for example), and I wouldn't have any problems?

How fast did you burn it?

Why is that a problem?

Why don't you just re-burn your image file instead of ripping the CD?

Why do you ask a PSX question in a Sega forum?

Max (24x I think)

The game doesn't load with the mod, and I audio is all screwed up

I deleted the image file after burning

Then get it back, by any means! Re-ripping from a bad burn is generally not a good idea, esp. with PSX games.

I wish I could. But, the damn comp at my mom's stopped reading BOTH the CD ROM and CD-Writer drives. I can't rent it and re-rip it. My dad never lets me rent games anyway. All I did was burn it too fast, will it still be a bad burn if I rip the bad burn at a much slower speed? And still burn it slower? I'm gonna try it, I'll get back to ya on it.
