Saturn only worth it if you can run imports?

I've seen this said a lot online at random places, and if you're wondering yes I own my own Saturn and no it isn't modded or altered in anyway shape or form. It's been said a lot that it's only worth having a Saturn if you bother with importing or modding or any of that stuff, this is very opinionated but do you honestly think that?

I may be shooting myself in the foot here by even putting this here because it does seem fairly obvious, but I'm just one of those people that doesn't like fiddling with imports or the processes to get them to work, they've always seemed quite daunting to me.

If it's only imports that you are interested in, you don't need to do a hardware mod to play them.

Just buy an Action Replay cart (or similar) and your Saturn will play imports just like locally released games. It won't, however, translate games that are in Japanese into English.

As to whether the Saturn is worth it only if you play imports - you'll only know by trying some for yourself and making up your own mind. :/
