Saturn picture question

I just got my first Saturn and it's model 1 , also my first game for the system is Shining the Holy Ark, I have the Saturn hooked up to a standard 32" HDTV but useing the front video inputs audio and S- video input.

The picture colors are sharp but things like the floor and face's are bad, its like when you zoom in to close with a digital camera and everything is distorted untill you pull back out. Now I do not have this problem with my CDX and Sega cd games at all. Is it just this game or could I have something not set up right? The game was new and Factory sealed.

One other thing, is there a big difference from model 1 to model 2 ?

Thanks.

It sounds like its stretching the picture to be high res when its actually only 352X240. Maybe theres settings in your tv to change this.

No luck on the TV settings. In one of the review's of the game this quote (Things don't pixel out (a la Doom when you get close.) I got pixel city, and now I wonder is this a problem with Saturn model 1 and not with model 2? What has changed on model 2 anything besides the round buttons.

The reason I do not think it is the HDTV and its not the widescreen version by the way, is because all my old systems (SNES) (CDX) (Genesis) all play great through the front video inputs with no pixelization at all.

Thanks Don.

Thats how the floors look, so I guess this is the norm?
