Sega has pushed back the release date of Sega Ages Dragon Force and Phantasy Star II for PS2 to January 6, 2005.

Thanks to the Magic Box for the news.

Hm...

Took 'em a year and a half to do PSII. How long for PSIV?

How long for the PS Collection to be release in the States?!

Umm... finish all the remakes + localize + manufacture & distribute? If that is their plan, we could be waiting a good while. I'd take them as $20 individual releases, or dual packs or something.... but that's just me. :(

PS1 sold in absolutely awful numbers, so my guess is they're expecting something similar for PSII. Also, doesn't it seem stupid to release an RPG and a Strategy RPG that could possibly target the same audience, at the same time?

Not to mention, Shining Tears just came out, which would no doubt compete with both titles.

EDIT:

Iceman2K, who the hell is that fat kid in your avatar?

Where can I find the sales numbers for all the Sega AGES?

Good question. Best bet is to find a Japanese site that posts them out of Famitsu. There are a few Japanese sites that do this... or at least did for old games... not sure about English sites.
