Sega Saturn Out Run Problems.....

Hello.I recently purchased a Japanese Sega Saturn Model # HST-0014 and a Japanese Sega Saturn "Out Run" game.When i insert the CD into the unit,the screen "now loading out run" appears for a few seconds,followed by the sega logo screen.That's it,nothing more.Eventually the CD stops spinning.When i open and close the door to get to the "settings" screen,i can play the musical tracks on the CD,but not the game.The system plays other games fine,and the CD is mint with no scratches.I'm stuck.Any suggestions?Thanks in advance for your time.
