Sega To Release 30 Game Compilation for PS2 and PSP

I can't believe they would add sword of vermillion in it. I liked the game when it originally came out, but it's probably the most dated rpg on the sega genesis.

I think Streets of Rage and Revenge of Shinobi might be missing for copyright/royalty reasons. IIRC Yuzo Koshiro composed and retained the copyright for the soundtracks on those.

Is the reason for no Shining the same way (Camelot)?

Most likely.

The thing I never quite got is how SF1 has a PC port, DC port, and a remake yet none of the other games are ever touched. Perhaps Sega somehow got all rights to the first one?

How awesome would it be to have an SF compilation..

SF1

SF2

SF CD

SF Final Conflict

SF III

If niether company can do anything with the series I just dont understand why after time one doesnt sell the rights to the other for remake or sequel purposes. Perhaps there isnt enough interest in a business sense anymore who knows..
