SEGA_WRN.ROM - Anyone know this file?

Hey everyone.

When looking through the ISO directory of my Panzer Dragoon Zwei CD the other day I found a hidden file called SEGA_WRN.ROM. The file is approximately 2.92 MB and is the only hidden file on the disc.

Clearly it could be nothing but if anyone has any ideas or has investigated this before, please let me know.

I will post it soon but at the moment my connection is busy downloading so I can't really do it just now! Check back here soon as I will upload it when my download is done.

Thanks!

Daniel

PS: How amazing would it be if we had found the copy-protection code?

"Hey you! Stop daydreaming!" *slaps*

All right mate, calm down! If you look at the bottom of my initial post, you'll see that I don't really believe that it's anything to do with the copy protection. I was having a joke, really.

And yeah, I've looked at it an a hex editor and all it is is some binary stuff.

The reason I posted this topic is because the file is large and the only hidden file on the CD, not because I think I've found the copy protection or anything!

Check the LBA... WRN might stand for "warning". Maybe it's the warning message for CD players (I'm not even sure if Zwei had one, tho). Plenty of Saturn games have actual files mapped to CD tracks.

Cool, I'll check that. I thought that "warning" was a likely meaning for the title, but as far as I can recall Zwei doesn't have a warning track.

I'll be sure to check! Thanks for the suggestion.
