Shiroki Majo (LoH 3) Saturn Translation

I've been working this one on the side for a bit now. Decided to announce it since the tools are pretty much complete. From what I've read this is a retelling of the PC98 version of the game reprogrammed by Hudson, but still considered pretty good.

The game happens to have native Ascii support, the annoying part has been allowing for script expansion and re-linking all of the embedded pointers in the script. Right now, apart from anything I might have missed the tools are probably about 90% complete. I just need to figure out how to adjust pointers to item/spell description text as those aren't embedded with the text.

Don't expect anything soon, the translation still needs to be performed for ~100 or so script & book files. If the end-result exceeds the max script size, I'll probably have to go back and add some compression, but it seems like there's some margin to play with.

Thanks, forgot to add that. Going down the Falcom title's rabbit hole:

Shiroki Majo: Mou Hitosu no Eiyuu Densetsu (lit. White Witch: Another Legend of Heroes)
Legend of Heroes 3: White Witch (Or The White Witch)

Its also the chronological second part of the Legend of Heroes Gagharv trilogy, but the other two games came out after. (The Legend of Heroes I/II (also ported to Saturn) story line isn't needed to play the game). That brings us to the confusing US PSP title:

Legend of Heroes 2: Moonlight Witch

And finally, its also technically Dragon Slayer VI Pt 3
Someone call me out if i missed something...

Hi, I might be willing to lend a hand with translating, provided the scripts can be organized in a clean, easy-to-edit format (like Google Sheets, for example).

I'm also interested in the two Falcom Classics releases, which have significantly smaller scripts. However, it seems Murzik hasn't been active for a while, and I'm not sure how to contact him.

I see Meduza Team is working on a Russian translation, labeling it as a low priority. Are you involved with them?

No, I wasn't aware that Paul Met was also working on it, this is a separate project. If youre offering to assist with the translation, I’ll check in with the person I originally asked and DM you. The dumped script is in csv format, could easily go into google docs.

I might consider looking at the other falcom titles at some point, just dont have the time at the moment.
