Thanks a lot for the suggestions =]If I could recommend anything for Albert Odyssey it would be nerfing Aine's speed boost power, as it makes him harder than the final boss. Also the final dungeon encounter rate needs to be reduced by like 70%. It makes it so its impossible to not be overleveled.
My hack reduces the rate by around 67% (2/3), and it definitely matters in the last area, you're right.
I also replaced the very inappropriate BGM in that area specifically, the new one does it justice a lot more.
What does Aine's speed boost power do exactly, increase his agility?
Yeah, it seems it's never too late to improve such a gem =]Very interesting post! I recently bought Sega Saturn and i`m all about rpg games and strategies (this second is almost non existend in Saturn library of games, well there is Civilization but its japanes only, i wish it have translation), and old jrpgs are my favorites. Albert Odyssey is right up my alley and i adore everything about it, next to Shining Force III.
Anyway thanks a lot for your efforts and passion for making improvements, ill gonna check it myself in a future.
