The only Sonic games Sega brought to E3 were Sonic Generations and Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games. Since Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 was nowhere to be found I asked Takashi Iizuka, Producer of Sonic the Hedgehog 4 and Sonic Generations, how the project is progressing.
"We named Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1, so there will be an episode 2. Since this year is the 20th anniversary of Sonic we wanted to focus on Sonic Generations," Iizuka answered.
"It wonââ¬â¢t be like Half-Life 2: Episode Three," I joked, but Iizuka didnââ¬â¢t get it. A bit embarrassed, I clarified and explained how there was a gap in years between Episode Two and Three.
