Strange Audio Bug on High Definition Genesis

Hello, I just bought a high def graphics model Genesis. I got one of those models so that my audio would be pretty good as I've heard the Genesis 2s don't have as good of audio. Well everything seems to be all right except when I play Streets of rage 2. The music is okay, the punch sound effects are fine, but the voice lines are this high pitched screeching and garbled static. When I go to the options menu and play the sfx and everything it's the same exact way. It does it on the headphone jack too. I can't seem to find anybody with the same issue. The ROM has been tested good and I've tried multiple. I couldn't seem to find anybody with the same issue. Every other game I've tried is okay so far, sonic, street fighter 2, and more. If anybody has some answers they would be greatly appreciated 🙂
