Swap Trick

Is there a swap trick for the mega cd 2? If there is can you tell me.

There is no need for a swap trick on any model sega or mega CD since there is no copy protection to defeat.

My Sega CD doesn't seem to play my copy of Sonic Cd

You do need to convert the country code of the SCD games using SCDconv (in the misc. section, I believe) to be compatable with your system.

If you have already done this, then you have a faulty burn, a faulty ISO or a faulty SCD. Test the game in one of the excellent emulators to make sure it is not either of the first two options.
