This should help newbies, but what about DC peripherals I think it would be as helpful as the game list choosing the right accessories can be tricky!

Cool! A shopping list.

I could put together a list of those too.

I would say just get official Sega stuff for the most part, but things like light guns, and other less common things like big memory cards, adapters and such are a little trickier

I don't want to be rude, so don't take this the wrong way.. But what is the point of compiling all these "Best Games" lists?

I think that most people will be able to find a good game for dc on their own... Almost every game on DC was a hit IMO

mostly for newbies --- it's a lot easier than trying to read through the messy "best games" posts. When you just buy a system (especially when it's not covered in "modern media") it's nice to know which games to spend your time and money on. Nice for if you want to start on a great collection

Lists like this is what got me stated in SX, so I hold the topic in a special place in my heart

I can't believe neither Gigawing nor Zero Gunner 2 are on that list. And that's just what I can think of right at this moment...

Should me make any changes with some of the latest Jap releases?

I'm not a big shooter expert, so I'm not sure how the games from Border Down and after rank.

Would it be possible to stick the genre next to each game? That way people like me can find shoot em ups that i have missed :)

Thanks

Well.. there arent all that many shmups anyways..

Gigawing 1-2

Mars Matrix

Rainbow Cotton

Gunbird 2

Twinkle Star Sprites

Ikaruga

Bangai-o

Border Down

Castle of Shikigami

Psyvariar 2
