uncompressing zlib compressed files

Anyone know how to uncompress zlib compressed files? I have kinda gathered something to do with Visual Basic though i'm dumbfounded with this as I don't have any programming knowledge.

You tried winrar? I have yet to find a compressed file that it wouldn't open.

Well, I finally worked it out - zlib compression is only compatible with these programs - PKZip 2.04g, WinZip, InfoZip and MimarSinan Codex Suite 2002... that''ll teach me for totally abandoning winzip for winrar Thanks for your suggestions aswell 😉
