I thought I already replied to this, but I must have just hit the preview and forgotten to actually post...

I haven't been listening to much lately, but in general I like:

Styx - Not sure what to call their type of music, but then they've covered a good bit of ground.

Journey - Just don't watch their music videos...

BOC (I'd prefer E.T.I. or Astronomy for a wake-up though)

Minibosses - The recording could stand some improvement, but these guys rock.

Akumajou Dracula X: Notcturne In The Moonlight soundtrack (Michiru Yamane; anyone know if this person has a history with Konami under one of those nutty aliases?) - Something something Young Nobleman of Sadness something something.

Kansas

Queensryche

I listen to other stuff (and I'll probably feel stupid later for leaving someone out), but that's what comes to mind at the moment.

Right now I'm listening to a remix disc from the Cult's box set.

ExCyber, your music collection sounds a lot like mine!

When I'm at work I'm usually forced to listen to whatever crap they pipe through to the hand-ops people. Ugh.

When I'm at home I listen to:

Radiohead, BT, Jega, Hallucinogen, Juno Reactor, Plaid, Robert Miles, Auteche (?), Banco de Gaia, Moby, Shpongle, etc. Mostly electronic, but also Paul Simon, Outcast Soundtrack (Moscow SO) lately.

But my all time favorite is a guy named Bjorn Lynne (aka Divinorum). Anyone who likes Genesis, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Yes etc. should check out his work (http://www.lynnemusic.com). He does a lot of game/TV soundtracks too, but his own work is amazing. His trance project (http://www.divinorum.com) is pretty decent, but his other stuff is simply amazing. Download "The Spirit Rider" from his "Wolves of the Gods" album. It's what got me hooked.

Check out his old demoscene stuff done under the name Dr. Awesome too. He did some very good Amiga tunes.
