What is the disadvantage of Dynamic IP with DSL?

I was looking into DSL plans and I noticed the cheaper plans have a dynamic IP setup and the more expensive ones have static IP.

What's the disadvantage of having a dynamic IP?

I think the advantage with static ip's is with website hosting.

Or FTP hosting.

If you're planning on running something that you need total control over, you probably will want a static IP, but if you just want a webpage or something, it's not really worth it. If you just want to set up servers casually, dynamic isn't really a big deal. I have a dynamic IP, and it only changes once every two weeks or so, if that.
